SPLTrak can custom design a Manuscript Submission System for your journal/publication. We will work closely with you to design a system to streamline your manuscript submission and review process. The system will collect manuscripts, covert them to a desired format (e.g., PDF), allow the editor(s) to distribute them for review, collect reviewer's comments, transmit the review/decision to authors, and collect a final version for publication. Importantly, the system provides endless editorial/administrative features for the tracking of each manuscript. The Manuscript Submission System assists you in coordinating every aspect of manuscript collection, review, and transmission to the publisher.

Examples: Core Lab Manager

SPLTrak has recently created a Core Lab Manager system for use within the research environment, but it may be applied to almost any discipline. This system was design for a core laboratory that offers services to for clients both inside and outside of the university. Users create an account and submit job requests via the system. Job requests are built in real-time in a shopping cart-like environment that includes instantly job quotes. Upon completion, the request is instantly available to the lab workers who review the request and prepare for sample arrival. Once the job has been completed, the data is transmitted back to the client via the system and administrative personal enter billing/accounting information. Such a system serves as an interface between the laboratory and their clients, while providing automated sample tracking and billing history.
